Our program was created with one goal in mind: to help you succeed on the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) and confidently step into the workforce. We focus on what matters most, teaching you the knowledge and skills you need to pass the exam and perform in real-world pharmacy settings.
The National Pharmacy Technician Training Program is a recognized training course by PTCB. PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Programs (REPs) are important for technicians seeking to earn PTCB credentials. REPs are required to attest annually that their curriculum meets our knowledge requirements for that particular credential.
Step 1: Enroll Online
Register online and complete your enrollment to begin the training program.
Step 2: Complete Online Course
Work through pharmacy technician lessons, quizzes, and practice activities.
Step 3: Sit for the PTCE
After successful completion of our course, apply for the national certification exam.
Step 4: Apply for State Licensure
Once certified, follow your state’s pharmacy technician licensing requirements.

What You'll Learn
Our National Pharmacy Technician Training Program is strategically designed to teach directly to the four core domains tested on the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). Each domain has a specific percentage weight on the exam.
Throughout the course, students build knowledge and confidence in Medications, Federal Requirements, Patient Safety and Quality Assurance, and Order Entry and Processing. Each lesson is intentionally aligned with real PTCE-style content, helping students focus on the topics most likely to appear on the national exam. From medication classifications and pharmacy law to insurance processing, inventory management, and patient safety practices, students gain practical skills that mirror the responsibilities of today’s pharmacy technicians.
